This UV sun parasol will have you looking and feeling comfortably cool, even on the hottest of days.
"Best sun product I have ever bought! If you are a fair-skinned sun lover and have some doubts, cast them aside! This product is as good (if not better) than described."
Feel the vibes of summer every time you open this parasol. Inspired by the waters of Western Australia’s Kimberley region, with silhouettes of the Australian wildflower burchardia umbellata (which is Latin for "umbrella") and the Australian silver gull.
My new best friend
"Love my sun parasol. Very thoughtful design. So lightweight that you hardly know you’re carrying it. Never leave home without it."
"I love walking to work but detest hat hair and the crease that hats leave across your forehead when worn snug enough to not blow off by a breeze. My parasol is so stylish! I’m a little off 6 foot and the longer length arm is fabulous for me. I’m always receiving compliments upon my arrival at work. Highly recommend to ladies who love sun protection and great hair!"
"This umbrella is perfect. Hats don’t cover shoulders and arms, and I love being able to walk knowing I’m protected. It’s cooler too. Couldn’t ask for more. It’s strong, mechanism is sturdy and of course it LOOKS gorgeous ☺️!"
"At a recent wedding, outside, under clear skies, 33°, it was perfect. My parasol provided, an elegant, slightly quaint, alternative to a hat. There was no concern with hat hair, no sunburn and I was cool because the mild breeze wasn't hindered."
Why our customers love them
"I feel MUCH cooler."
The fabric on all of our parasols has been rated UPF50+ by the Australian Radiation and Nuclear Protection Authority.
The unique, tightly woven fabric is enhanced with a sun blocker to provide UPF50+ protection, helping you stay cooler and protect your skin at the same time.
"It makes me feel so elegant when I am using it ."
The cotton blend fabric and elegant wooden handles make them look different to a rain umbrella and evoke a Summery vibe.
"I hate hat hair so this is perfect."
Parasols provide the perfect solution for short term sun protection that doesn't leave you with a longer term inconvenience of hat-hair.
Hats can act as an insulator, keeping more of your body heat trapped. Parasols provide comfortably cool shade for your face and your shoulders.
"Great for keeping me out the sun or rain"
Water beads off the canopy, so your parasol will protect you if you get caught in the rain.
"Copes with windy weather better than the average umbrella"
A high quality mechanism and fibreglass ribs, for a durable and long lasting sun umbrella.
Wind vent built into the canopy, to allow any breeze to dissipate ensuring that your sun umbrella will not invert.
"Light weight, easy to hold and use."
Teardrop shaped wooden handle, for a comfortable grip.
They are lightweight too, weighing just 250-290 grams (depending on the style) making them comfortable to hold for any length of time.
Plus your parasol comes with a matching carry bag, to protect the sun umbrella and make it easy to carry when not in use.
"The smaller diameter works well in more crowded situations, so that you're not bonking people in the head or jabbing eyes!"
The parasols are perfectly sized - slightly smaller than a rain umbrella, it's smaller size makes it sleek and unobtrusive in a crowd.
The canopy diameter of the Stick-style Cosmopolitan is 80cm, which is large enough to be effective as you can angle a sun parasol to the suns rays.
The canopy diameter of the Compact Cosmopolitan is larger, closer to the size of a traditional umbrella but still small enough to be more convenient
"Being tallish, I chose the model with the longer handle, and this feature allows me to use the parasol without feeling like I'm doing a baby chicken look. "
Available with either a short handle or long handle.
Generally women under 160cm tall (5'2") find the short handle more comfortable, while taller women prefer the longer handle.
Fantastic. At a recent wedding, outside, under clear skies, 33°, it was perfect. My parasol provided, an elegant, slightly quaint, alternative to a hat. There was no concern with hat hair, no sunburn and I was cool because the mild breeze wasn't hindered. Comments were positive, and I am hopeful I've sown a few seeds.
I was so happy to read the piece in the paper as no-one seemed to know how to buy a parasol. I love it. Not so sure about the shrug - I'm not so good with that but hopefully will get used to it. Parasol is great.
