We recently had some beautiful messages from a fellow small business owner about how much she loved her sun wrap on a recent holiday. With her permission, we're sharing her thoughts with you!
On my recent holiday to Cairns I was unsure of what the weather would actually be like. Cairns is hot right?
Well, perhaps not as hot as you would have thought in winter time. Non-the-less coming from cold wintery Adelaide I figured a summer wardrobe would be sufficient with a few light jumpers to boot.
Thank fully I packed my Sun Bella sun wrapand boy did this come in handy. Not only did this wrap protect me from the sun but it also served as a cardi to keep my shoulders warm when the wind picked up.
I wore the sunwrap around my waist as a skirt to keep me covered when we went to the hotel pool. Knowing it would dry quickly there were no qualms in covering up after the swim too.
When the wind turned and the cool breeze picked up I used my wrap in lieu of a cardigan. It took up much less space in the backpack, didn’t crease and was light so did the job in the Cairns climate where cool breezes are mild.
The next part of our holidays we went to Brisbane and Toowoomba. I was unprepared for the cold weather in Toowoomba. I had a few layers I could throw on but didn’t have a warm scarf. Lucky my sun wrap worked just as well as a warm neck scarf. I looped it over my head 3 times and it sat snuggly under my chin.
I’m looking forward to the hot Adelaide summers however, the sun is intense and I find we burn extremely easily in this part of the world. So my sun gloves also from Sun Bella will protect my hands while driving. Again the sunspots have popped up on my hands and with daily driving with young kids I want to cover them up as much as I can.
