Does the Sun Wrap really block UV rays?

Yes! Our fabric is rated UPF50+ by the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Authority, meaning it blocks 98% of UV rays.

Unlike some UPF50+ fabrics that rely on chemicals to enhance sun protection (which can wear off over time), our Sun Wraps achieve maximum protection through a uniquely tight weave—no chemicals needed.


How do I wash my Sun Wrap?

For best results:

  • Gentle machine wash (below 30°C) with mild detergent
  • Dry in the shade
  • Do not iron, tumble dry, or dry-clean

That said, we've personally tested them in hot and cold washes, tumble-dried them, and even ironed them (after being scrunched up for a long time)—and they held up beautifully!


What if I choose the wrong size or don’t like the colour when it arrives?

Is the Sun Wrap cool to wear? Does it breathe?

Absolutely! Our fabric is uniquely designed to be lightweight and breathable. Unlike long-sleeved tops that trap heat, the Sun Wrap allows air to flow through the fabric and around your arms.

Why doesn’t my Sun Wrap have seams along the edges?

Hemming can make the fabric feel bulky and stiff, affecting how beautifully it drapes. Our fabric won’t fray, so we leave the edges unhemmed for the best possible flow and comfort.


Why does my Sun Wrap have a twist in the loop?

That little twist at the front is a design feature! It enhances the look of the scarf and makes it even more versatile, allowing you to wear your wrap in multiple ways.


What are the dimensions of the Sun Wraps?


How do I remove sunscreen stains from my wrap?

Sunscreen stains can be oily or brown/orange, often caused by avobenzone (a common sunscreen ingredient) reacting with minerals in water.

Here’s how to remove them:

  1. Blot the stain with a dry cloth to remove excess sunscreen.
  2. Sprinkle bi-carb soda or cornflour over the stain and let it sit for 30 minutes.
  3. Brush off the powder and apply a strong laundry detergent (one designed to break down oils).
  4. Soak in hot water mixed with detergent for 30 minutes, then rinse with clean hot water.
  5. Wash as usual.

For stubborn stains on white fabrics: Hang the wrap in the sun and spray with lemon juice—a natural brightener that helps lift stains!

Shipping policy

Delivery
Sun Bella delivers to anywhere in Australia for the rates below including GST. We use Australia Post and deliver to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers at the same price. Please note we have no control over Australia Post delivery times.

We dispatch orders daily, Monday to Friday. Orders placed before 11 am WST are usually dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 11 am will be dispatched the next working day. During peak times like Mondays, Christmas, or sales, dispatch may be delayed by 1-3 days.

For urgent orders, we recommend selecting express postage.

Postage within Australia

Standard Parcel Post

  • Delivery Time: 2-7 working days, depending on location.
  • Cost: $9.95 or FREE for orders over $99.

Express Postage

  • Delivery Time: 1-3 working days.
  • Cost: $14.95 or FREE for orders over $180.

Local Pickup (Perth)

  • Cost: $5.95.
  • Orders ready after 2 pm the next working day.

Sun Bella products cannot be sold in or shipped to the United States.

    Delivery times are estimates and do not account for delays beyond our control.     Occasionally, our warehouse may experience delays of up to 24 hours due to unforeseeable issues. We will keep you informed if this happens.

    Shipping Insurance
    We recommend purchasing Shipping Insurance to protect your order from damage, loss, or theft.  Please be aware that delivery companies are able to provide photos of the delivery location, and if a parcel is reported as stolen we will need to report it to the police.

    Tracking Numbers

    Tracking numbers are emailed upon fulfillment. Allow up to 24 hours for updates and check your junk folder if not in your inbox.

    Delivery Issues

    For tracking or delivery issues, contact Australia Post at 13 76 78. If an order is lost in transit, we will replace it if the same item/size is available or provide store credit.

    Clearance Items
    Please choose carefully when purchasing clearance items, as returns for change of mind will not be accepted. 

    Change of Mind 
    If you've changed your mind, ordered incorrectly or it wasn't what you expected, please contact us via hello@sunbella.com.au within 30 days of placing your order.  We will either arrange for the new item to be sent or provide a credit note for use on www.sunbella.com.au.  In this instance, the customer is responsible for all shipping charges incurred on returned/exchanged merchandise.

    Faulty Items
    In the unfortunate event you receive an item you believe is faulty, please contact us within 30 days with a description and clear photos of the fault. We will respond as soon as possible to resolve the issue. 

    Please note that wear and tear or improper use/care is not considered a fault. While our products are of high quality, general wear and tear is common, especially with items used frequently. To ensure the longevity of your product, we encourage you to follow proper care instructions.

    Incorrect Items 
    Sometimes we make mistakes. Please contact us within 30 days. Returns must be in the same condition as received, including original packaging or with swing tags attached. Items must be unwashed, unworn, and unused. ​In this instance we will refund the cost of postage also.

    Promotional Offers
    Promotional offers or discount codes can only be used at the time of purchase and cannot be applied or refunded after an order has been placed.

    Shipping Insurance

    RETURNS PROCESS
    Please contact us to obtain the return address - email hello@sunbella.com.au 

    All items must be returned in their original condition and packaging, with tags attached and with any related accessories that were included.

    You will be asked to return items via standard Australia Post, request a tracking number and send us an email with the tracking number. Once we have verified the tracking number we will compensate you accordingly.

    Additional Policy and Warranty Notes
    Unless your garments are faulty, shipping and handling charges will not be refunded and we will not pay for the cost of sending the goods back to Sun Bella.

    Exchanges are subject to product availability. 

    Refunds will be processed within 7 business days of us receiving your product. You will be notified via email when this has been processed. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they receive it from Sun Bella. All refunds are processed into the account used for the purchase unless otherwise stated by the customer.

    When will you post my order?

    Place your order before 11am WST and we'll post it on the same day (week days). This excludes pre-orders, and rare occasions where we are inundated with orders and need an extra day to catch up. Please select Express Post if you want your order to jump the queue.

    When will I receive my order?

    Australia: It usually takes 2-7 working days for your order to arrive. Orders within Perth metro area usually take 2 days, deliveries to Sydney generally take 5 days, Queensland generally takes 7 days.
    Express post usually takes 1-3 working days.

    International: deliveries will take between 10-25 working days depending on your location.

    Where are your products made?

    We spent many months designing our parasols here in Australia and then spent considerable time trying to find someone local to manufacture them for us. Unfortunately there were no umbrella manufacturers at all that could help us. The Small Business Development Corporation advised that we would need to take our business offshore if we wanted to bring our product to fruition.

    We now work with an amazing manufacturer partner in China, who makes it possible for us to turn our designs into high-quality products. Our partner has passed ISO9001 (quality), ISO14001 (environment), BSCI (social compliance) and OHSAS18001 (Occupational Health & Safety) audits.
