This parasol is designed to complement all outfits, with a subtle blue or sand design. The design is printed on the underside of the canopy to prevent sun fading, whilst also providing you with the best view.
There are two different variations in this range - Archipelago Blue and Sand; both of which has been inspired by the colours of Western Australia’s Kimberley region. The flower motif is based on an Australian wildflower, colloquially known as “small sun umbrella”. The silhouette of the bird depicts the seagull, a bird that evokes thoughts of a day at the beach in Summer.
UPF50+ rating: Enhanced with a sun blocker to provide UPF50+ protection, which will keep you cooler and protect your skin, without giving you hat-hair.
Rain resistant: The sun blocker also causes water to bead off the canopy, so your parasol will protect you if you get caught in the rain.
Comfortable to hold: Teardrop shared wooden handle, for a comfortable grip.
Durable: Quality mechanism and fibreglass ribs, for a durable and long lasting sun umbrella.
Stylish: The canopy is made from a cotton blend fabric to differentiate its appearance from a rain umbrella and evoke a Summery vibe.
Wind resistant shape: Stunning and unique straight canopy, which allow the breeze to pass straight across rather than get caught in the curve of a rain umbrella.
Wind resistant vent: Wind vent built into the canopy, to allow any breeze to dissipate ensuring that your sun umbrella will not invert.
Perfectly sized: The open canopy diameter (80cm or 31.5 inches) is the perfect size for a sun umbrella. It can be angled to maximise your shade to protect your upper body, whilst being unobtrusive in a crowd.
Ideal for carry-on luggage: The full length of the parasol (58cm or 23 inches) will fit inside luggage, making it ideal for travellers.
Lightweight: Weighs just 280 grams, making it comfortable to hold for any length of time.
Carry bag: Includes a matching carry bag with strap, to protect the sun umbrella and make it easy to carry when not in use.

I'm a teacher in regional WA where summer temperatures can climb into the high forties. I bought the parasol for when I am on yard duty, and have found hats too hot to wear. I love the design, but was a little disappointed in the size, I think an extra 2-3 inches in radius would be perfect.
Hi Adriane, thanks for your lovely words. We did quite a lot of research in designing our sun parasols. We wanted them to be unobtrusive in a crowd, yet still large enough to provide adequate coverage as it can be angled to the sun (unlike a rain umbrella that needs to protect us from all angles). Whilst the vast majority of our customers prefer the smaller size, you are certainly not the first to request a larger size. Our new Compact Cosmopolitan folding parasol is our most recent design and we have incorporated the larger canopy suggestion into that range. I hope that helps!
Along with sunscreen - this is my WA outdoor essential! Light enough to carry anywhere and not so bulky as to take out peoples eyes:) Best of all - it keeps the harsh sun off. It take it everywhere!!
Keeps the sun off, easy to carry, will be left in the car for all our holidays and walks this summer.
Found the sun parasol of good quality material. Having space between the top middle section would help with any breeze flow coming under. The size is good for something compact only, giving just enough coverage from the sun for one person.
Love this, really light, great looking, and the shoulder strap makes it easy to carry when not in use. Exactly what I wanted.
I love my parasol so much! I have only had it for a month or so and yet I have already used it a dozen times and it's not even proper summer yet! It's super sturdy and a good size - I don't feel like I'm taking out pedestrians when I'm walking down the street. My hats are super bulky and really annoying to put in my bag when I'm inside. The parasol goes neatly in its cover and the handy wrist strap means it's not even a bother. If you are a fair skinned sun lover and have some doubts, cast them aside! This product is as good (if not better) than described. I love my gorgeous Kimberly Sun design, but could be tempted to purchase a plain white one as well - that's how much I love it!
I just love my purchase. It is gorgeous. I can't wait to use it.
My sun parasol is pretty and very functional. The bamboo handle is a delight to hold and the carry bag makes for easy transport. I live in a retirement village and have had many positive comments on my new sunshade. Purchasing was a very easy procedure and delivery was surprisingly fast. I would definitely recommend Sunbella and their beautiful products.
Buying this parasol was a great online experience. I love the pattern & colour. It's lightweight & perfect to protect my fair skin from the summer sun. Yes, I would highly recommend this product!
This is the second parasol Ive bought from this company. The first was such a useful item as I could use it in any weather and it stayed intact even in strong wind and kept the sun off my upper body much better than any hat. And yes... no hat hair! Chris
Just perfect. I have two of these. I love them. X
I bought this parasol as a gift for a young friend of mine who had admired my line. She loves it.
Nice size - not too big or unwieldy.
The sun umbrella has been great to use and easy to transport and looks great.
I love my Sunbella, even if I get a few odd comments...my first was inadvertently broken but I love my new one ❤️
I had a BCC (basal cell carcinoma) removed from my brow just before Christmas. As someone who has previously avoided sunbathing, it came as a shock. I hopped online to look for an umbrella with sun protection and found the Sunbella website. I absolutely love the parasol - it is so easy to carry, looks great, does the job and is easy to pack away when not needed. Since using it, I have noticed other people on my bus-stop using umbrellas. It appears we are all becoming more sun savvy. Thank you, Sunbella!
